So Much New for You in 2022

Camp MYWCamp News

At Camp Mini-Yo-We, we aim to add new adventures all the time so that when your kids arrive at Camp, they are as excited to be here as we are to host them!

Every year we make changes and adjustments to our programming and investments in our activities to constantly improve our service for your kids and their friends.

We do this for three reasons.

  • Your kids deserve it. We love them a lot and want them to have something new to try every time they come to Camp.
  • We value excellence. We take pride in what we do and put our best efforts into delivering an exceptional experience.
  • We listen to your feedback. We’re constantly listening to what our guests think about their experience and looking for ways to improve it.

Summer 2022 is no exception. We have added a number of new activities and programs that we are thrilled to share with our campers and their friends for our 76th summer.

We have so much new for you in 2022!

The Summit – Who Will Reach the Top First?

The Summit is a brand new three-person adventure that we’re adding to our high ropes course. It’s the largest investment that we’ve made in our aerial park since we launched the Skyline in 2017. Your child and two of their closest friends will challenge themselves to climb over cargo nets, tires, climbing holds and more to reach the Summit Bell at the top of this completely vertical challenge. How far can you make it? Will you get to the top first? We’re excited to add this brand new element to our course and to give our campers the chance to go further and faster next summer.

The Summit will be available for our guest groups from spring 2022.

Hilltop Adventures – More Fun for Campers Ages 13 to 15!

Our oldest campers, ages 13 to 15, at both Boy’s Camp and Girl’s Camp have for decades been in the sections at the top of two hills. Next summer, we’re combining some aspects of these programs to add even more fun for the campers in this important age group.

On Sunday night, our campers will enjoy a welcome reception and a chance to get to know not only the campers in their own section but also those from the other camp. Later in the week, all of our Hilltop campers will go on a day hike together to the Centennial Ridges Trail in the world-famous Algonquin Park. On Friday evening, they’ll enjoy a sunset concert and coffee house vibes. These programs are designed to increase the fun and enjoyment for our oldest campers.

Plus, all of this is at no additional charge for 2022 at Mini-Yo-We when you register today.

Family Camp – Kids Take Their Parents to Camp!

During the first week of August, we are inviting parents to come to Mini-Yo-We. We’re taking all the best lessons from our family programming during COVID and bringing them to camp this coming summer.

Campers registered for another program this summer come to Family Camp for FREE.

This week promises to be lots of fun under the sun with campers and parents at camp together.

Space is limited, so make sure you register today.

Try It All – Do Everything at Mini-Yo-We This Summer!

Coming out of COVID, we have heard many parents say that they want their kids to try everything. You spoke, and we listened. We’re so excited to give all our campers more summer adventures than we ever have in our 75-year history.

At Boys Camp and Girls Camp this summer, all our campers will get an opportunity to try 14 different activities. While at Discovery Camp, those campers will get a chance to try 9 different activities.

Girls Camp Improvements – Continual Improvement Continues at Mini-Yo-We!

We continue a multi-year process of increasing the quality of our facilities across all of our properties. This year, we have a special focus on improving many things at our Girls’ Camp facilities. This facility is our oldest and serves our largest camper population.

Some of the improvements that we’re looking forward to this year include:

  • New Waterfront Docks – A great way to enter Mary Lake and enjoy a summer afternoon.
  • Campfire Point Grandstand Upgrade – Join all of Girls’ Camp as the sun sets, and we sing songs together in this incredible area with brand new bleachers.
  • Yo Camp Washroom – The old washroom is already gone, and the team is hard at work building a brand new washroom for our Yo Camp campers.

We’re looking forward to hosting your kids and their friends this summer at Camp Mini-Yo-We. There’s so much new for you in 2022. Register today—space is limited.
