TRIPPING PROGRAM

A FULL WEEK OF ADVENTURE IN THE WILDERNESS!

The Explorer Canoe Trip is perfect for the adventurous camper aged 13-14. This is a 1-week program built around 5 days (4 nights) out-tripping with our experienced trip leaders in God's creation. Develop your abilities in paddling, food preparation and trip orienteering, while also growing in community and faith. There are boys' trips and girls' trips, which run in different weeks of the summer.

This canoe trip does not require you to be an experienced tripper. It does build on the skills that campers can develop in our shorter, introductory Voyageur Canoe Trip for ages 11-12.

The Route

Campers will experience a 5-day trip in Noganosh Provincial Park! The route is a loop starting and ending at Fleming's Landing off Highway 522.

The route includes a handful of shorter portages (75-300 meters), paddling some large lakes and great campsites. By the end of the trip, campers will have covered roughly 40 kilometers canoeing and portaging!

The trip culminates with a two-night stay on Mud Lake in the middle of the week. The group will have a few day trip options to consider including paddling and bushwhacking. For more details about the route, reach out to our team!
