For decades we’ve hosted fundraising events at Camp Mini-Yo-We every spring. This is a highlight of the year for many of us because in a very real way these events kick off the summer season of ministry. We want to invite you to this year’s fundraiser event because we think it’s going to be particularly exciting!
Camp Mini-Yo-We’s 2018 Alumni Celebration & Dessert Fundraiser

We have made a number of changes to this year’s event to better serve our community. We have also made these changes in an effort to see even more people attend this year than ever before! We spent time listening to feedback from our past guests, as well as those who haven’t attended, and made these exciting changes:
- New Lower Ticket Price // We’ve cut the ticket costs in half! We’re doing this because we want everyone connected with Mini-Yo-We to be able to attend. Whether it’s been years since you’ve been on property or if you are on staff this summer, we’d love to see you at this year’s event!
- New Day of the Week // When we talked with people about what changes we should make, we heard many say that holding the event midweek made it hard for them to attend. So, we’ve moved it to a Saturday evening! This will make it easier for you to attend and enjoy the event.
- New Location // We moved the event to Oakville, Ontario this year because we wanted to be closer to the majority of people who typically attend. For most people, we’ve cut the travel time down by moving to our new location!
- New Busing from All Over the Province // Last year we tested a coach service from Muskoka and people loved it! Just imagine being driven to the event in a sweet coach (that has wifi!) with other people from the Camp community ! This year we have three coaches for your convenience:
- North Line – Pick Up/Drop Off @ Camp MYW & Barrie
- East Line – Pick Up/Drop Off @ Pickering & Yorkdale
- West Line – Pick Up/Drop Off @ Kitchener/Waterloo & Milton
- New Exclusive Auction Items // At this year’s event we’re offering exclusive Mini-Yo-We experiences that you won’t find anywhere else! Come ready to bid on some fantastic opportunities for your friends and family to experience Mini-Yo-We in a whole new way!
- New Format // When you arrive you’ll be greeted by our team AND some delicious desserts! You’ll have time to mix and mingle with Mini-Yo-We friends in an open lobby setting as well as check out the auction items. Afterwards you’ll be invited into the theatre to enjoy a fantastic 45 minute program about the future of Camp, and you’ll have the opportunity to support our ministry. We guarantee that you’ll be on the road by 9:00 p.m. celebrating a great evening spent with the Mini-Yo-We community!
- New Surprises // Our team is working hard to ensure this event has some cool new surprise features. You’re not going to want to miss these!
