We have an ambitious goal for Giving Tuesday! We hope to raise enough funds to send 78 kids to Camp Mini-Yo-We next summer. Would you help by joining other members of our community and giving generously on December 3, 2024?
Your Chance to Help Others
“To say a simple thank you seems too small and insignificant to display my gratitude for sending me to Camp Mini-Yo-We.” – Sponsored camper
If you’re familiar with Mini-Yo-We’s leadership pillars, you already know how much we value taking action to help others. Giving Tuesday is the perfect opportunity to support our ministry and ensure kids who need Camp the most will not miss out. Every summer, we hear from families who received assistance with their fees.
One mom told us, “Words can’t express our thanks for your support…he wouldn’t have been able to go without your help. He came home saying he had an amazing time…Mini-Yo-We is such a blessing and a wonderful ministry. Thanks for making our son’s summer awesome!”
Campers share their own stories, too. We often hear things like, “Thank you so much for giving me the best week of my life! I got to meet new people and make lots of friends!” and “I’ve learned so much about God and I did stuff that I never knew I could do.”
Transform a Life
Mini-Yo-We develops tomorrow’s leaders through life-changing adventures in God’s creation. Many of our summer staff members started as campers. They found a special place where they could have fun and nurture lifelong friendships, stretch themselves and build confidence in a safe environment, and grow in their faith. We want to continue this legacy by sending 78 kids to Camp in Summer 2025. With your help, they will experience all Mini-Yo-We has to offer — and perhaps even return to serve on our team someday.
A Girls camper wrote: “My cabin leaders knew how to turn a frown upside down. I think everyone should experience Camp Mini-Yo-We. Maybe one day I can be a cabin leader too. Thank you for your generous gift!”
Take Action on Tuesday
Repeatedly, families report that Camp has a positive impact on their kids. They tell us about learning to paddle a canoe on Mary Lake or the thrill of ziplining for the first time and about going home with a strengthened faith. “I learned how to put my full trust in God and that he loves each one of us… I think more kids should have this kind of opportunity to learn about God,” writes a camper whose family received help.
We agree! Mini-Yo-We has already started receiving donations — click to visit the donation page and check out our progress. Join us on Giving Tuesday (or give right now) to ensure deserving kids have the best week of their entire year at Camp Mini-Yo-We.
“Without your help, I would not have had these good life experiences. Thank you and God bless you.” – Sponsored camper
