Our 72nd summer at Camp Mini-Yo-We is going to be epic! Our team has been hard at work all winter to make some fun upgrades to our camper experience so your kids will love Mini-Yo-We even more! Check out these fun highlights of five new adventures we’re rolling out this summer for our guests.
- Mini-Yo-We Skyline – Triple Zipline! // This is the largest addition to our aerial adventure park in over 20 years! Climb to the top of a 55 foot platform with two other friends and have a blast zipping over our sports field and through the pinery. Our hope this summer is to have hundreds of campers at Boys and Girls Camp enjoy this brand new attraction!
- Pontoon Boat Fishing // Campers at Discovery Camp will get the chance to jump onto our new pontoon boat and head out onto Mary Lake to catch (and release!) some fish. There’s something really cool about being out on the open water while trying to try and catch a fish or two with some friends. Our staff team will even put the worms on the hooks so no there’s need to get your hands dirty!
- Daily Social Media Updates // Have you ever wondered what happens at Camp while your kids are there? This summer we are going to produce even more content on Facebook and Instagram so you can follow along with your kids’ experiences. Be on the lookout for some new special highlights to keep you even more connected while your kids are with us!
- Two New High Ropes Elements // We continue to make our aerial adventure park even better. On “Team All Aboard” four campers will attempt to use communication and coordination to balance on a platform 30 feet in the air! The “Elevated Teeter Totter” is designed for two campers to attempt to balance each other while up in the tree canopy!
- New Waterfront at Discovery Camp! // We’re starting a three year project to refresh our waterfronts and were starting with our Discovery Camp docks and beach. Our campers will enjoy the new fully enclosed swimming areas designed to help all our campers love swimming in the lake even more! We love Mary Lake and we want our campers to fully enjoy this totally unique part of Mini-Yo-We even more in the years to come.
Mini-Yo-We is better with friends! You’ll notice that all the improvements we’re adding to Camp are about enjoying this experience together with other campers. We’d love for you campers to come with friends from home this summer! So pumped for the summer of 2018!
