CAMP FOOD IS

Our food service team provides healthy and kid-friendly meals in all our summer programs. Our balanced menu is designed to reflect Canada’s Food Guide and includes fresh and delicious meals three times a day. We have three menus we using depending on the week.

Special Diets

We hire dedicated food specialists each summer to assist us in providing the best meals for campers with special diets. We can accommodate diets which are vegetarian, lactose-free, gluten-free and more. Check out our resource PDF below for frequently asked questions on how we handle special diets.

Food Allergies

Our team can handle a wide range of allergies including campers who are peanut free, citrus sensitive, and more. Campers prone to anaphylactic reactions are required to bring two epi-pens and carry them on their body at all times. Camper Dietary Restrictions Resource PDF

We take the safety of our campers with nut allergies very seriously. However, due to variables outside our control, we do not claim to be a peanut-free or nut-free environment. We consider Camp a nut-aware facility by taking the following proactive steps:

Camp kitchens do not knowingly serve food that contains nuts. We do however permit the use of products that list “may contain traces of peanut products” or "may contain traces of nut products" in the ingredients.
Our tuck shops do not knowingly stock snacks that contain nuts.
We request that campers, staff and guests do not bring products containing nuts onto our facility.
Staff are instructed to remove products containing nuts from the property if found.

The private residences of staff living on property are not required to be nut-free. Campers are not permitted in these areas.

Campers prone to anaphylactic reactions are required to bring two epi-pens and carry one on their body at all times. Parents of campers with a known anaphylactic allergy must disclose this condition on the camper's medical forms during registration. We encourage parents to talk with the medical staff and their children’s cabin leader upon their arrival.

Food Service Volunteers

Are you interested in volunteering for a week of the summer on our Food Service Team? Volunteers work alongside our full time staff in providing three meals a day to campers.
