We require that all staff be a minimum of 17 years of age as of December 31st this year and volunteers be a minimum of 18 years of age as of December 31st this year.

Spring Crew is an additional opportunity available to Camp Mini-Yo-We program staff. This program operates during May and June and works to prepare Camp for the summer, support the Mini-Yo-We Outdoor Centre, and provide financial assistance summer staff.

Maintenance, Food Services, Medical Services
Camp Mini-Yo-We could not operate without the 150+ operations volunteers that come up to Camp each summer! These include camper parents, grandparents, friends of Camp, teenagers, and everyone in-between. Volunteers support one of three key functions of Camp: (1) maintenance, (2) food services, and (3) medical services. Watch a short video about each volunteer area on our YouTube Page.

The grasshopper program is child-care program designed to support volunteer parents throughout the summer. Children in the grasshopper program are taken care of during work hours, but will sleep with parents at night.
Eligibility depends on the following:
- Must be the immediate child of the operations volunteer
- Must be under the age of 5 by December 31st this year
- Must be fully toilet-trained
