Horsemanship

Have you ever wanted to learn how to ride a horse? Have you taken riding lessons before and want to further your skills? Camp Mini-Yo-We has partnered with a local riding stable to bring you good instruction for beginner to intermediate riders. The week will begin with an introduction to the stables and horses, as well as safety guidelines. For two hours a day, campers will learn how to groom, tack and care for their own horses, as well as learning the fundamentals of Western or English style riding, how to lead their horses, and how to ride!

- Boots/riding shoes with 1 heel
- Water bottle
- Any of your own riding equipment (optional)
Photography
Available every week. Cost: $30.00
Do you love to take pictures? Our instructors will teach you fundamental photography and lighting techniques, as well as how to use your camera and take the best pictures possible! Camp provides some of the most amazing and beautiful subject matter for your photographs. Not only will you learn great techniques by the end of the week, you will also have amazing pictures to show everyone at home. We will frame your best print!

Voyageur Canoe Trip

Big on adventure? Then our Voyageur canoe trip is for you! Voyageur is a three-day introductory canoe trip for girls looking to try something new. We have a great local route, fantastic leaders and a new adventure around every corner. Learn skills such as how to properly pack for a canoe trip, setting up a tent, portaging and environmentally safe camping skills.
Trip leaders are carefully selected and trained to lead this trip. They carry a SPOT emergency communication device. On this introductory trip the campers are never far from emergency assistance should help be necessary.

Theatre Arts

Love to sing, dance or act or all three? You will get to learn techniques to help improve your performance in one or all of these areas. Work with the rest of the girls and an exciting show, including set design, costumes, etc. to be performed at the Friday night Awards Ceremony for the rest of Girls Camp.

Wakeboarding

Experience the thrill of high-speed action on a wakeboard! Our trained instructors will show you how to jump the waves! Caters to beginner and intermediate levels.
