There are too many variables beyond our control for us to claim to have a peanut-free environment. We do not knowingly serve peanut products from our food service or Tuck Shop. Campers, guests and staff are requested to not bring peanut products onto the site (this includes care packages or mail items). We DO use products that list "may contain traces of peanut products" in their list of ingredients. Our staff is instructed to remove peanut products if they learn that these products have been brought to Camp. The private residences of staff living year-round on the site are not required to be peanut-free.
Campers, guests and staff who may have anaphylactic reactions are required to bring two epipens and carry them in a fanny pack at all times. Parents of campers with a known anaphylactic allergy must disclose this condition on the registration and medical forms and are encouraged to talk with the medical staff, section director and cabin leader upon their arrival.
Discovery Camp
During meal times, Discovery Camp staff are busy helping campers with some of the challenges that young children face during meals. Cabin leaders are careful to help kids by pouring drinks and helping those who need it to cut their food.
Weekly Menus
We operate on a 2-week menu rotation. Menus may change subject to availability of ingredients from our suppliers.
